How Coursera referral program works
If a Friend purchases a Coursera course, Specialization or Professional Certificate using an Advocate’s Referral Link, and such course, Specialization or Professional Certificate is considered Eligible Content (as defined below), then the Friend will receive a reward (“Friend Reward”) that consists of either a fifty percent (50%) discount on the first month of such purchase (if the content is subscription-based) or fifty percent (50%) off the entire cost of such purchase (if the content is non-subscription-based). In turn, for every Friend that redeems a Friend Reward in this manner, the Advocate who referred such Friend will receive one (1) of the following types of rewards of his or her choosing (“Advocate Reward”): a fifty percent (50%) discount on one (1) month of subscription-based content; or fifty percent (50%) off the entire cost of one (1) non-subscription-based content.
